WELCOME!

Welcome to Church of Christ the King

We are so glad you are considering visiting us. Here is some information that will help prepare you for the service.

What to Expect When You Arrive

Upon entering, please feel free to take an order of service from the welcome table and a hymnal from the cart located near the entrance. These will guide you through the service. If you have any questions, our greeters will be happy to assist you.

Children

Children are an important part of God’s family, and we are happy to have you and your family worship with us.

During the service, quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the pastors, musicians, and other leaders. Sing the hymns, pray, and voice the responses. Children learn by imitating your participation. If you have an active child, you may need to take your child out of the service at various times. Keep stretching them until they can sit through the whole service. If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. Live audio from the sanctuary is available downstairs in the Lower Hall for parents with children who may need to remain out of the sanctuary for longer periods of time.

Children are God’s gift to our church. They remind us that he is growing his body while raising up the next generation of his people. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…” (Matthew 19:14).

Nursery

Nursey is offered during the 9:00 AM hour for children up to 3 years of age.
Nursey is offered during our 10:30 AM worship service for visitor's children up to 4 years of age.

Quiet Time

At the beginning of the service, we observe a time of quiet reflection. This is a moment to prepare our hearts for worship. Any introductions or formal welcoming will take place after the service, allowing us to start our time together in reverence.

Visitor Registry

We invite you to sign our visitor registry, located on the podium in the foyer. This way we have a record of your visit.

Communion

Visitors are welcome to participate in communion. At Church of Christ the King, we practice open and close communion. This means that all baptized Christians who trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and are members (in good standing) of a Bible-believing church are welcome to participate, regardless of whether you are a member of our church.

Attire

We do not have a formal dress code, but many of our members choose to dress modestly, reflecting the belief that we should bring our best before God (Colossians 3:17). Whether you're dressed casually or formally, you are welcome here.

Parking

Parking is available in the parking lot to the west of the chapel. Access to the chapel is not available from the central market parking lot to the north.
